Low vision clinic offers the following:
The Low Vision Clinic is run by myself,
Charene Janse van Rensburg, and is a service offered to patients that suffer
with pathological changes in the eye and permanent irreversible loss of vision
that cannot be corrected despite conventional, surgical, medical and or
optometric therapy.
Assessments are directed at identifying
functional problems, educating and counselling of patients to provide an
understanding of their visual status and various patient-specific treatment
options.
The Centre also provides bio-kineticist,
diabetic nurse and chiropractor services and can be found in Alberton to the southeast
of Johannesburg.
